Overall musket and bayonet remain in very good + condition. This is as found and originally came from a friend of mine who had it for over 60 years. The M-1816 musket was altered to around rifle length and the BG&M bayonet was force fitted down the barrel during the period. This was to be used as a rifle and pike. Overall length measures 59 3/4". A very cool Civil War Relic.
